Bio

I first started my journey with UMAA Training back in 2014 when at the time the gym was in its infancy. I was approached from another CrossFit affiliate to help establish the new gym called CrossFit Purley. Throughout the years I have seen the gym grow from strength to strength to the point that we are at today; an expert team of trainers and coaches, a growing membership, an awesome fitness community!

My current role within the gym is a mixture of group class delivery, session programming and planning, along with 1-1 personal training and skills coaching. I work 1-1 with some of our UMAA members but also members of the public outside of the gym that want to optimise their health and fitness. I work with a wide range of clients each with different goals and aspirations. Their ability level in the gym ranges from new starters that have never worked out before, to competitive athletes. Goals, lifestyles, strengths and weaknesses vary from person to person and each of their plans is as unique as they are.

Outside of Health, Fitness and Training my biggest passion is Rugby. I am a massive fan of Scottish Rugby due to my family heritage and often head up to Edinburgh to watch Scotland play their home games along with my son and old man.
